Cuyahoga Pioneers
We came a long way from Connecticut
acrost some forests and some streams
out to Lake Erie where we sailed along the shore of it
bound for the land of our dreams
We reached the place where the river flows into the lake
built us a cabin on the shore
we took some surveys and we plotted where the streets would go
and did full many a thankless chore
